Some times if you computer may behaves abnormally, like restarting itself with out giving you any type of warning. The Problem associated with it may be any of the below..

  1. Operating system problem or corrupt drivers.
  2. Mismatch in he Ram Bus Speeds (Ex: DDR2 667 and DDR2 800 FSB Rams used in same system)
  3. Processor overheating
  4. Power Supply Problem (SMPS, if your system reboots itself constantly)
  5. Virus Infected PC

Note: If any of the above solutions does not work the Clean Format your system.

Try  the blow solutions :

Cpu Over Heating : Check if your system processor is over heating (check manually or check the cpu and motherboard temperature in Bios>> Hardware monitore.)

Temperature between 40-55 centigrade is safe enough and can be ignored and if goes above 60 processor might be causing the problem for restarting.Try to replace the processor.

Some times slow running processor Fan (failing processor Fan) can cause Processor to Over heat.If in that case check Processor fan manually and replace it.

Heat sink Compound : If system restarts it self for once in 30 to 40 minutes apply Thermal Compound paste on the Processor. See below picture.

Proper Ventilation for the CPU : Try Using Proper Ventilation or Exhaust Fans inside the Chasis Or cabinet. If needed user 2 to 4 Chasis fans for Heat to go out of the cpu for proper cooling inside the system .

Ram Bus Speed Mismatch : Dont try to use the Rams with different bus speeds, it may cause the problem for system restarting. You can use them but it is not recommended.

Power Supply (SMPS) : If Your Computer Restarts it self frequently then the Power Supply of your computer is Failing or in bad condition, try replacing with a new SMPS102382_SMPS_pbilimage1

Virus Infected PC:  Most of the Times due to badly infected system with viruses may cause the problem to restart it self Repeatedly. Try to clean your system with any updated antivirus software like Quickheal total security (I recommend this ..)
