Playing with ISO Images

• Here is a screen shot tutorial that will show to how to…

1. Mount your ISO images

2. Burn your ISO

3. Extract your ISO images

• So, First we will see how to mount your ISO images.

For this you will need Power ISo Software. Search in the Internnet for this Software.

Install the Power ISO Software and select your ISO image file that you want to mount as a drive in My Computer.

1. Mounting Your ISO image as a Drive In My Computer

Double Click the ISO image to Open.

Select: Mount >> Set Number of Drives>> 1 Drive .

 

 

Right Click on the ISO image file >>Power ISO>> Moutn image to J: Drive.

See Below Image the ISO image is Mounted as J: drive (Ex: DG41WV)

You can open the J: drive and view the contents of the ISO image and you can copy from there too…:

 

 

If you want to Mount to Unmount the selected Drive we have just mounted..

 

Right click on the Drive>>Poweriso>>Unmount Drive J:

2. Burning Your ISO image to CD/DVD

If you want to Burn the contents of the ISO image to CD/DVD…

Open the ISO image in Power ISo >>Select “Burn”>>Insert your Blank CD>>

Select “Burn” option.

 

 

 

3.Extracting Your ISO image to a Specific Folder

If you Want to Extract the Contents of the ISO image to a specific Folder…

 

Open ISO image>>select “Extract”>>Click Box next to “extract to”>> Click OK

>> Select the Empty Folder >>Click OK >> Done

 

You can Open that folder and view the contents of the ISO image…
