Download the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS desktop iso and burn iso image to CD and boot your computer from the CD.
From the very First Sceen Select “Install ubuntu”
After loading ubuntu it will ask you to select your language.
Preparing to install Ubuntu ( Aleast 4.6 Gb of disk space is needed, recommended 8 Gb)
Allocate all drive space to Ubuntu
Warning : Selecting the “Erase disk and install Ubuntu” will erase all previous partions and data on the disk, so use with caution.
Select the second option “Something else” will guide you to create your partions manually as you like and edit existing partions that are previously created.

Enter your personal details to create your user account

After installation you will be prompted for Username and Passoword.
Enter the username and password that you have given during installation .The login screen appears like this.
